Job Description, Responsibilities, and Duties

Are you ready to play a key role in ensuring smooth vendor operations and building strong relationships in a global IT environment?

We’re on the hunt for an IT Services Manager to join our team! In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of global procurement and vendor management, ensuring efficient operations and top-notch vendor relations. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects, collaborating with diverse suppliers and cross-functional teams across various regions. Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
• Act as the liaison between functional leads or other internal teams and vendors.
• Manage and administer contracts.
• Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, depending on the scope of work, and prepare reports for management review.
• Proactively identify and manage issue resolution between service providers and other business unit teams.
• Assist with global and regional escalations.
• Develop and implement vendor sourcing strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline operations and maximize cost efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement and vendor management.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Business Resources to support the budgeting process, including forecasting.
• Work with Engineering Management to support the effective growth of Engineering Operations.
• Contribute to project-level reviews of costs.
• Support and track IT services procurement, purchases, work orders, contracts, and related processes for both local and global suppliers.
• Coordinate with IT services and non-IT services vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, resolve issues or discrepancies, and maintain strong relationships across different regions.

Requirements for the Employee

Candidates for this position should have education at the following levels:
• Secondary with school-leaving examination
• University education (Bachelor’s degree)
• University education (Master’s degree)

Language Skills

• English - Upper intermediate (B2)
• Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT services procurement and/or vendor management, preferably in a fast-paced environment with a mixture of local and global suppliers.
• Proven experience in supplier selection processes, defining statements of work, and managing 3rd party software or services in one or more areas of digital/IT.

Skills and Attributes

• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders across different regions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Solid knowledge of procurement principles, best practices, and contract/vendor management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle diverse tasks across different regions.
• Fluent English and Slovak language.

Top candidates will also have

• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CTPS, CTPE, CSCP, CPSM, CPM).
• Experience with e-procurement systems and technologies.
• Knowledge of sustainability and ethical sourcing practices with a global perspective.
• Project management experience and/or purchasing experience strongly desired.
