Backend Developer
Responsibility
- Work within project team in agile environment
- Effectively communicate with superiors and colleagues
- Deliver assigned tasks in time and in required quality and provide support for QA team if necessary
- Actively participate on team meetings and agile ceremonies (planning, retrospectives, standups etc.)
Skills
- Knowledge of JAVA/J2EE and open source frameworks like Spring
- Understanding of HTTP protocol, Restful paradigm, Servlets etc.
- Experience with web containers/web servers – e.g. Tomcat
- Knowledge of UML and OOP paradigm
- Knowledge of DB – e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL including PL/SQL
- Experience with version control systems e.g. Git, SVN etc.
- Enthusiasm – eager to learn new technologies and development approaches
- Analytical thinking
